I stepped onto my healing path in the late nineties after I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. I initially fell in love with the transformational quality of the practice of yoga and through a combination of yoga, counselling and energy healing, my illness began to ease in intensity. In 2005 my journey took me to Asia & Australia and it was there that I connected deeply to myself and found a want in me to share yoga with others. Since then I have trained with Ana Forrest - Forrest Yoga Tradition, Baron Baptiste – Power Vinyasa Yoga and Shiva Rea – Prana Flow Yoga and Mel McLaughlin of The Yin Space and I teach full-time in Strandhill, Sligo & in Dublin, Ireland. I also lead retreats across Europe.
My approach is one of dedication and true intention with an element of lightheartedness.
In 2011 I left my career in PR to work with lululemon athletica. Working with a company passionate about vision & goal setting and leadership development, encouraged me to consider how this is done in other corporate environments and so in 2013 I trained with The Animas Institute as a coach and I regularly facilitate workshops in companies across Ireland.
My work with Ana Forrest has led me to explore my work as with energy and shamanism. In 2014 I attended a retreat on Touch for Healing with Judith Ashton and in 2015 I began training in Shamanism with Eliza White Buffalo. I have found the path to healing to be one of beauty and challenge. While in India in 2015 I spent time at the Kirti Hermitage in Rishikesh with Maa Gyaan refining how I work. In 2018 I began training with Shamanism Ireland and in 2020 completed the Shamanic Practitioners course. In 2019 my journey into Sacred Sexuality and the Everyday Goddess began with Trish Cameron. I am very grateful for the people in my life that continue to show up, hold space for transformation with the utmost integrity and inspire me to be more me everyday.
I also have a ridiculous affinity towards shoes and dark chocolate & those of you outside of Ireland my name is pronounced "eefa" :)
Give a girl the right shoes and she will conquer the world!
